Adjacent to Flamingo Las Vegas, The Linq started its life off as the Flamingo Capri; a motel intended to expand the reach of the original Flamingo resort. Over its life time it was known by many names; with Imperial Palace being one of the most long lasting names and the Quad being the shortest. From 2012 to 2014 the resort went through a major renovation which shed the asian themed decor of Imperial Palace to first create the Quad and eventually turning into the Linq.
Things we Like about the linq
Location - Center Strip with tons around
The Linq Promenade - Fun area with shops, bars, restaurants and of course the High Roller Observation Wheel
Low Table Limits on Games
People tend to congregate there - always a fun time
Interesting rooms - They offer a bunk bed!
Things we dislike about the linq
Some times over crowded - north entry especially as the sidewalk dumps into the entrance
Rooms are small, not super nice - Newly renovated, but small
Hotel Towers are Maze like - Not Great when you are drunk!
Age of building shows at time - low ceiling, small spaces, strange elevators
Pool - Tiny for Vegas
